Clay cliff is spotted from the main high way near Twizel, but not yet so famous spot here and I am happy about it.
When you through the gap between the cliffs then the world is very different from the looks from outside.
Looking up all the time while you are inside and you may get sore neck.

Fickle Summer weather
Believe or not, Queenstown has winter in summer sometime.
All shots below were taken in this month, probably coldest day and hottest day.
In summer time, it should look and feel like summer.
Violet carpet - Lupins
Every summer, I enjoy the scent and the colours.
Good or bad, this is not New Zealand native flower, so if they are inside of national park then they will need to be removed.
I'm personally really like them and love to cover more area with them. So pretty, aren't they?
Picton
My first visit to Picton is about 19 years ago. I was on a ferry from Wellington in the end of March and sunset time. The orange sun light casted to the fiord, made a lot of triangles shadows and some yachts were cruising slowly, it was so beautiful. One day, I would like to see the scene again and hopefully I can capture the scene.
This time was a brief stop visiting, but again, the gorgeous water made me happy.
North of South - Queen Charlotte
What a peaceful land around here!
Warm, quiet, beautiful, pretty, relaxed...one of my favourite place to visit. The narrow road goes further and further along the coast, and through forests. Thousands of beautiful bays are so beautiful, looks so different in the day and evening.
I dreamt if I live here...catch fish from the sea, walk along the mountain ridges, dive in to the beach, swinging in the hammock with a beer on a hand, working a little sometime whenever you want...it really sounds a dream.
